Testing #1
Ps. 26:2 “Test me, O LORD, and try
me, examine my heart and my mind;”
Ps 139:23, 24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Q. Was David asking for a
specific test, and if so, should we also consider asking for a test?
LETS LOOK AT GOD’S WORD AND SEE WHAT IT SAYS!
Luke 8:1-15 Parable of the sower

joy when they hear it, but they have no root.” …“in a time of testing they fall
away”

did the fathers test and try God?

my faith been tested?

I spiritually immature, incomplete, and lacking?
Q. Have
I asked God for wisdom?
Q. Is
there power in my prayer life?
If you feel tossed like a wave in the
sea, and blown around by the wind, it is because of doubt. If your belief is
not rooted, and your faith is not testable, it is an indication of
double-mindedness and instability. vs. 7
Has God been convicting you about being rooted? Do you have any
spiritual fruit? Is your faith good for anything or anyone? Do you want to have
power in your prayer life?
Ask God if he wants to test you
now.
